The Buckaroo is a special member/child event, giving members the opportunity to spend quality time together while enjoying a fun and memorable experience.

Saturday, July 4th | The 19th Hole
Add a little competitive thrill to your Independence Day celebration! This Saturday, stop by the 19th hole to test your accuracy and compete for an incredible, highly coveted grand prize.
The player who fires the Closest Shot to the Pin will walk away with a brand-new, limited-edition Titleist "America 250th" Golf Bag—the ultimate way to show your patriotic spirit out on the fairways.
How to Enter:
Cost: $25 per shot
The Rules: You can take as many shots as you’d like to try and stick it close. Every single dollar raised goes directly toward making our club events spectacular.
Swing by the 19th hole during the festivities, take your best shot at glory, and see if you have what it takes to take home the bag. Good luck to everyone competing!
Club Traditions: Golf Course & Practice Facility Dress Code
As we dive into the heart of the summer season, we kindly ask all members and their invited guests to review Black Bull’s mandatory dress code policy. Adhering to these guidelines helps preserve our rich club traditions and ensures a premium atmosphere across our championship course and practice facilities.
Men’s Guidelines
Approved Attire: Collared shirts with sleeves, tailored slacks, or Bermuda-length golf shorts (mid-thigh or longer). Tailored mock turtlenecks and golf turtlenecks are the only acceptable non-collared shirts.
Please Avoid: Cargo shorts, denim/blue jeans, graphic t-shirts, tank tops, mesh shirts, sweatpants, swimwear, cut-offs, or athletic/gym shorts.
Women’s Guidelines
Approved Attire: Golf dresses, skirts, skorts, tailored slacks, mid-length shorts, and golf blouses or sleeveless tops with a collar.
Please Avoid: Halter tops, denim/blue jeans, graphic t-shirts, sweatpants, swimwear, cut-offs, or athletic/gym shorts.
Footwear & Headwear
Hats & Visors: Headwear must always be worn with the bill facing forward while on the golf course and practice facilities. Backward or sideways hats are not permitted.
Golf Shoes: Metal spikes are strictly prohibited. All players must wear golf-specific shoes with soft spikes or approved spikeless golf footwear.
Policy Enforcement
To ensure an exceptional experience for everyone, this dress code is mandatory for all players. Members and guests who do not meet these guidelines will be kindly asked to change before being permitted to access the practice areas or tee box.
The Golf Professional staff’s interpretation of the dress code shall be final. If you or your guests have any questions regarding appropriate attire, please contact the Golf Shop prior to your arrival—we are always happy to help!

The Fireworks Are Back! Independence Day Celebration
For the first time in four years, one of Black Bull's most beloved traditions returns in a massive way! To celebrate America's milestone 250th Birthday, we are lighting up the Gallatin Valley with a spectacular 30-minute fireworks extravaganza, beautifully synchronized to a patriotic musical soundtrack.

Fitness/Pool Center Notice to Black Bull Golf Club Members
Dear Members,
To ensure members have the best possible experience without overcrowding this summer, Black Bull will implement a new security system at the Fitness & Pool Center in the coming weeks, including a gated entrance with key fob access.
Each primary membership will receive two (2) key fobs for entry. For security purposes, fobs are strictly for member use only and may not be shared with non-members. Any misuse, including sharing fobs, may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges. The gate will be scheduled to be operational from 5 am-11 pm daily. The fitness/pool area will be closed from 11:01 pm to 4:59 am.
If you forget to bring a key fob and temporary fob will be issued at the golf shop.
In addition to fob access, members will be asked to present their membership card via the Black Bull app to pool attendants upon entry.
Guest Policy:
Members may bring up to two (2) guests per visit.
Guest fee: $25 per guest.
All members and guests must check in with pool attendants upon arrival.
Guest fees, as well as any food and beverage charges, will be billed to the hosting member’s account.
Guests must be accompanied by a member at all times and are not permitted to access the facility independently.
Members wishing to host larger gatherings may do so by reserving a cabana. This option helps us maintain a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all. For cabana reservations or additional information, please contact events@blackbullbozeman.com.

New Feature: Digital Membership Cards Now Available
As we move into the 2026 season, we are excited to introduce a new membership validation tool within the Black Bull App. This feature will streamline your experience at the Club, from checking in for rounds to verifying your member status at Bar 72.
How to Register: To get started, simply open the Black Bull App and click on the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once you enter your membership information, the app will generate your unique digital membership card.
Once you have successfully registered and generated your digital card, please send a brief confirmation email to paul@blackbullbozeman.com to complete the validation process.
Why Download the App? Beyond this new validation tool, the app is becoming your central hub for all things Black Bull. We are also excited to announce that your Weekly Newsletter will soon be available directly within the app, making it easier than ever to stay updated on the go.
