Masters Week is officially here, and the energy at Black Bull has shifted firmly toward the fairways. With the professional field gathering at Augusta and our own Driving Range now officially open as of today, the 2026 golf season is in full flight. Whether you are testing your game against the pros in our Sunday tournament or joining us at Bar 72 to enjoy a menu inspired by the traditions of the Masters, this week marks the true beginning of our spring calendar.
We lead this week’s update with the long-awaited announcement that registration is now OPEN for "Annie Get Your Gun." Ladies, it is time to saddle up and secure your spot for this hallmark event. On the course, we are thrilled to introduce the Sunday Masters Day Game, giving you the chance to pair your net score with a pro from the field for a shot at the leaderboard. Please also take note of our Monday Morning Maintenance schedule and an important update regarding Membership Credit Card Payments as we streamline our seasonal operations.
At the clubhouse, Bar 72 is celebrating in style with "Rory’s Champions Dinner Menu," featuring the exclusive Chef’s Picks served in honor of Rory McIlroy. Looking ahead, the calendar is filling fast with our upcoming Sushi Cooking Class, the Italian Wine Dinner on April 15th, and a newly announced night of Live Music with Mathias on April 17th. We look forward to a spectacular week at the Club.

New Feature: Digital Membership Cards Now Available
As we move into the 2026 season, we are excited to introduce a new membership validation tool within the Black Bull App. This feature will streamline your experience at the Club, from checking in for rounds to verifying your member status at Bar 72.
How to Register: To get started, simply open the Black Bull App and click on the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once you enter your membership information, the app will generate your unique digital membership card.
Once you have successfully registered and generated your digital card, please send a brief confirmation email to paul@blackbullbozeman.com to complete the validation process.
Why Download the App? Beyond this new validation tool, the app is becoming your central hub for all things Black Bull. We are also excited to announce that your Weekly Newsletter will soon be available directly within the app, making it easier than ever to stay updated on the go.

Golf Update
Saddle Up, Ladies! Registration is OPEN for "Annie Get Your Gun"
It’s time to round up your sharp-shooting squad! Registration is officially open for our Women’s Member/Guest: Annie Get Your Gun on July 9th & 10th.
This year’s event features a Shamble format, with teams of 4 players. To keep things competitive and fun, we will be flighted after the first day of play.

Play with the Pros: The Sunday Masters Day Game
Join us this Sunday and bring the excitement of Augusta to your own round at Black Bull! We are hosting a unique Masters Day Game that pairs your performance with the best in the world.
How it Works:
The Draw: Each participant will be randomly assigned a professional player from the Masters field.
The Score: Your net score for the day will be combined with your pro’s Sunday gross score to create your final tournament total.
It’s a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the tournament atmosphere and add a little extra thrill to your Sunday round. Come play, watch the leaderboard, and see how your game stacks up alongside the pros!
Course Access: Monday Morning Maintenance
As we move into the heart of the spring season, we would like to remind the membership of our Monday morning maintenance schedule.
To allow our grounds team the necessary time to ensure the course remains in championship condition, the first available tee time on Mondays begins at 12:00 PM (Noon).
Please plan your rounds accordingly and utilize the online tee sheet to book your times in advance. We look forward to seeing you out on the course!

Bar 72 Hours of Operation
Bar 72 will continue with its current hours:
Wednesday through Saturday | 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Starting May 15, we’re excited to introduce lunch service! Please refer to the calendar in the Members Area for updated daily hours.
Beginning Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, the pool will open and Bar 72 will be open seven days a week for the season.

Membership Credit Card Payments
Effective immediately, Black Bull Golf Club will no longer accept credit card payments online or in the golf shop for membership billing.
Members who wish to pay their statement balance by credit card must enroll in EZ-Pay by contacting paul@blackbullbozeman.com.
Please note that all credit card payments made through EZ-Pay will be subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
