As we move past the excitement of Masters Week, the momentum at Black Bull continues to grow with a packed calendar of competitive golf and signature social events. With the leaderboard finalized and our spring maintenance underway, we are focused on ensuring the course and the clubhouse are in peak condition for the vibrant season ahead. Whether you are checking the results of our recent tournaments or looking forward to an evening of live music, this week offers plenty of ways to stay connected with the Club.
We lead this week’s update with a round of applause for our Masters Pick’em and Monthly Raffle winners, as well as a critical Course Maintenance Update regarding our recent green aeration. For those looking to upgrade their bag, we are excited to announce an exclusive Titleist Club Fitting Day coming in May. Additionally, a final reminder for our lady golfers: Registration remains OPEN for "Annie Get Your Gun"—be sure to secure your team’s spot for this July hallmark event.
At the clubhouse, the social season is heating up. We are just one day away from our Italian Wine Dinner on April 15th, followed by Live Music with Mathias this Friday. Next week we have our Cooking with the Chefs: Sushi! Looking further into May, we have opened reservations for our Mother’s Day Brunch, a new Social Hour on the Driving Range, and a live performance by Luke Flansburg. From the first sip of Italian wine to your next precision club fitting, we look forward to seeing you at the Club.

New Feature: Digital Membership Cards Now Available
As we move into the 2026 season, we are excited to introduce a new membership validation tool within the Black Bull App. This feature will streamline your experience at the Club, from checking in for rounds to verifying your member status at Bar 72.
How to Register: To get started, simply open the Black Bull App and click on the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once you enter your membership information, the app will generate your unique digital membership card.
Once you have successfully registered and generated your digital card, please send a brief confirmation email to paul@blackbullbozeman.com to complete the validation process.
Why Download the App? Beyond this new validation tool, the app is becoming your central hub for all things Black Bull. We are also excited to announce that your Weekly Newsletter will soon be available directly within the app, making it easier than ever to stay updated on the go.

Masters Pick’em Results & Monthly Raffle Winner
The first Major of the year is in the books, and we are excited to announce the winners of our Masters Golf Ball Pick’em contest. It was a tight race at the top of the leaderboard:

Saddle Up, Ladies! Registration is OPEN for "Annie Get Your Gun"
It’s time to round up your sharp-shooting squad! Registration is officially open for our Women’s Member/Guest: Annie Get Your Gun on July 9th & 10th.
This year’s event features a Shamble format, with teams of 4 players. To keep things competitive and fun, we will be flighted after the first day of play.

Course Conditions & Maintenance Update
To ensure Black Bull remains in premium condition throughout the peak summer months, our grounds team has performed a small tine punch on the greens this week.
While this may cause a brief period of light surface disruption, this essential maintenance is vital for soil health and green speed as the temperatures begin to rise. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we invest in the long-term quality of our playing surfaces.
Titleist Club Fitting Day: Friday, May 8th
Elevate your game with a precision-tuned set of clubs. We are excited to host a Private Titleist Club Fitting on Friday, May 8th, featuring Titleist expert fitter Quincy Smith.
This is an incredible opportunity to work with the same technology and expertise utilized by the pros. Whether you are looking to optimize your driver gapping or find the perfect iron set for the season, Quincy will ensure your equipment is perfectly matched to your swing.

Starting May 15, we’re excited to introduce lunch service! Please refer to the calendar in the Members Area for updated daily hours.
Beginning Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, the pool will open and Bar 72 will be open seven days a week for the season.
