As we head into August and look back on another incredible season at Black Bull, it is the perfect moment for our community to come together and celebrate the dedicated team that makes our club feel like home.
We are proud to announce the return of our annual End-of-Year Staff Appreciation Bonus Pool, and we invite you to join us in recognizing the hardworking staff who make every round, meal, and memory at Black Bull so special.
This fund is a direct, tangible way to express our collective gratitude. 100% of every contribution goes directly to our team members as part of their year-end bonus.
For the many local college students on our crew, your generosity goes far beyond a simple thank-you—it directly supports their tuition, books, and educational aspirations as they balance work and school. For our year-round team, it is a deeply meaningful recognition of their unwavering commitment to our club family throughout every season.

Important Road Construction Notice: Baxter Entrance
Thursday, August 6th | Expect Delays & Use Alternate Routes
Please be advised that Sime Construction will be paving the intersection of Matador and Black Bull Trail on Thursday, August 6th.
Traffic Impact: There will be no through-traffic entering or exiting via the Baxter entrance for the majority of the day.
Alternate Entry: Members and guests are asked to use alternate community entrances to access the club and neighborhood during this time.
Reopening: The Baxter entrance will reopen to through-traffic as soon as paving operations are complete.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these road improvements are finalized!

Junior Golf Camp: August Session

Live Music with Harley Huestis

Mid-week live music returns to Bar 72! Join us on the patio this Wednesday evening as we welcome local favorite Harley Huestis for an acoustic set under the Big Sky.
Grab a seat on the patio, order your favorite seasonal cocktail, and enjoy Harley’s soulful acoustic covers of classic favorites and timeless hits. It is the perfect excuse to skip cooking, unwind after a round, and catch up with friends and family.
End of Summer Swim Competition
Saturday, August 29th | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Make a splash as we wrap up another fantastic summer at the pool! Join Next Level Swim School for our End of Summer Swim Competition on Saturday, August 29th, from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM.
Swimmers of all ages are invited to participate in as many events as they'd like, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, an individual medley, a kickboard race, and even a fun dive toy game! Every participant will receive a ribbon for each event they enter, and baked treats will be waiting at the finish line to celebrate everyone's hard work. The cost is $40 per swimmer.

New Feature: Digital Membership Cards Now Available
As we move into the 2026 season, we are excited to introduce a new membership validation tool within the Black Bull App. This feature will streamline your experience at the Club, from checking in for rounds to verifying your member status at Bar 72.
How to Register: To get started, simply open the Black Bull App and click on the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once you enter your membership information, the app will generate your unique digital membership card.
Once you have successfully registered and generated your digital card, please send a brief confirmation email to paul@blackbullbozeman.com to complete the validation process.
Why Download the App? Beyond this new validation tool, the app is becoming your central hub for all things Black Bull. We are also excited to announce that your Weekly Newsletter will soon be available directly within the app, making it easier than ever to stay updated on the go.
