BLACK BULL REAL ESTATE SALES TEAM
Lead Sales Associate, REALTOR
When people visit Bozeman for the first time, they are often awed by the majestic Bridger Mountains, the vibrant downtown scene and the thriving university environment. They soon realize they can be out hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing, or biking within minutes of Main Street. Surrounded by the mountain ranges of the entire Gallatin Valley, many visitors decide they want to make this special place a part of their family’s history.
Tara Rigg is a third-generation Montanan, born and raised in Billings. Bozeman first made its impression on her when she attended and graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Education. Married shortly after graduation, her husband’s career took her to Colorado where she worked and grew her family. A Master’s degree, three daughters and 14 years later, Bozeman continued to pull at her heart strings.
In 2015 Tara and her family finally had the opportunity to return to Montana and they jumped at the chance to call Bozeman “home”. She knew there was no better place to raise her growing family. From downhill skiing to exploring Yellowstone Park, fly fishing to picnicking at the Farmer’s Market, you will find the Riggs out and about enjoying Bozeman and its surrounding areas.
Tara finds great joy in helping others find their dream homes in her beloved home state. She understands the serenity, beauty, and adventure that draws others to the Bozeman area. With that in mind, she strives to help clients find a home that truly fits their needs, so they can savor Montana in pure comfort. Listening to the wishes and concerns of her clients is her top priority, ensuring that their purchase is handled with utmost care and attention to detail.
Tara joined Black Bull Realty in 2018.
REALTOR and Membership Liaison
Joey Lovell was born in San Diego, California but spent most of his young life in Sandpoint, Idaho as the youngest of four siblings. Golf was introduced at the age of 9 while watching the 1997 Masters Tournament with his grandfather. The next day, knowing that his grandson was hooked, golf lessons were purchased. Joey's childhood goal of playing Division I golf was achieved when he earned a spot playing for Boise State University. After college, he followed his dream of competing professionally on the National Pro Tour.
His work experience started at Hidden Lakes Golf Resort in Sandpoint doing anything the Resort asked of him at a young age. In 2006, Hidden Lakes underwent a complete redesign and was opened in 2008 as The Idaho Club, the only Jack Nicklaus signature golf course in the state. He assumed the position as First Assistant and upon receiving a degree in business, was promoted to Head Golf Professional in 2012.
In 2013, Joey moved to Bozeman, Montana to further his career by joining the professional staff at Black Bull. After two successful years as the First Assistant Golf Professional, he decided to take a step outside the golf industry and get into technology sales. While gaining invaluable knowledge and sales experience, Joey's real passion remained the golf world. In the Winter of 2017, he came back to Black Bull.
Joey has an extensive Real Estate background in his family with his mother being a Realtor for 20+ years and his father being a building designer for 40+ years. In 2014 Joey met his eventual wife Kelly who also works in the Real Estate industry as an owner of an interior design company. It seemed like fate that he would join the Black Bull Realty team in 2018 and also become the Membership Liaison to coincide with Real Estate sales. Joey has a great passion for the Black Bull Community and the exciting future of the development.
