Member Debuts Art at Black Bull

If you have been in the Corral Clubhouse within the last week you might have noticed new art hanging on the walls. Black Bull Member, Charlie Dingman, is debuting his paintings at Black Bull after much cajoling by Chef Erik.

Charlie began painting as a result of an injury to his hand that ended his career as a dentist. "I started painting to try to gain some feeling and control of my hand. I was lucky to have a mentor in Bob Barlow, an artist from Wyoming, who helped me get started."

Although Charlie has been painting off and on for years, he started painting more seriously 3 years ago. "I am basically self-taught, so I ended up throwing a lot of stuff away. I have much to learn, but the satisfaction of creating a nice piece of work is very rewarding. I hope some of what I have done gives people a good feeling.”
