Summer Activities
Summer in Montana is hard to beat—warm sun, cool nights, little humidity, and long days. At Black Bull, golf is certainly one of the most popular pastimes, but it’s really just one of countless ways to spend your time outdoors.
If you have a family, you’re certainly going to be spending a lot of time at the Pool & Fitness Center, where the kids can swim to their heart’s content while you relax in the hot tub and enjoy outstanding views of the Bridger Mountains. You might want to play a game or two of tennis, walk the four miles of trails that wind through the community, or fish the evening rise at one of the scenic trout ponds.
If you feel like venturing off property, there are literally hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails to explore. World-famous fisheries like the Gallatin, Madison, and Yellowstone are all within striking distance, and whitewater rafting is another way to experience firsthand this area’s pristine rivers. Bozeman has grown into a popular destination itself, with a myriad of cultural attractions, shopping, art galleries, the Farmer’s Market, Music on Main, and the weekend-long Sweet Pea Festival which attracts thousands each year.
All we can say is that, with so many options, it’s a good thing summer days are so long.
