Museum of the Rockies
The Museum of the Rockies is one of the crown jewels of our community, and Black Bull Golf Club is proud to be a major sponsor of the 2007 Wine Classic. The Wine Classic, which is the major fundraising event for the Museum, is all the more special this year as the Museum celebrates its 5th anniversary. With our sponsorship we are expressing our pride in the Museum and its achievements as well as in our community.
With 94,000 square feet, the Museum of the Rockies is the largest natural history museum in the region. It includes the only Digistar planetarium in the Northern Rockies and has developed a fully interpreted Living History Farm on 11 adjacent acres. A constantly changing schedule of exhibits and planetarium shows mean there's always something new to see; some of the current exhibits include Dinosaurs Under the Big Sky, Picasso: 25 Years of Edition Ceramics, and Tutankhamun: “Wonderful Things” From The Pharaoh’s Tomb. The Museum is located on the Montana State University campus at 600 W. Kagy Blvd. Check the Museum of the Rockies website for more information and hours.
