P. David Baucom Named Director of Golf

P. David Baucom, a thirteen-year member of the PGA, has been named the Director of Golf at Black Bull in Bozeman, Montana. For the last nine years, he has been the Head Golf Professional at Riverside Country Club in Bozeman. Prior to this, he was the General Manager and Head Golf Professional developing Ridgecrest Golf Club in Nampa, Idaho. Ridgecrest was rated by Golf Digest as the third best new upscale, public course in the country, and the number one course in Idaho.

In 2001, the Rocky Mountain Section PGA named P. David Baucom as its PGA Golf Professional of the Year. This award is the highest honor paid to a PGA professional. Baucom has been nominated for this award five times. Additionally, Baucom was nominated for the 2002 National PGA Golf Professional of the Year.

Baucom has various wins and top 5 finishes in the Rocky Mountain Section Pro Am Series. He has competed nationally at the Buick/Oldsmobile Scramble three times. In 2000, he finished 3rd in the nation. Baucom has been a two time participant in the Albertson’s Team Championship, a made for television match play event, where one private club competes against another.
